Texas Penal Code which became effective
September 1, 1994.  

Text which has been deleted from the old
code is bounded by ^s on the left and ^t
on the right.  New text which has been
inserted is bounded by ^u on the left and
^w on the right.  There are a great many
of these marks so the text must be studied
carefully to ensure proper interpretation.

This is a major re-write of the Code which
now sentences to probation those convicted
of selling drugs to children and many
non-violent property crimes which are
still felonies.  If you want to see what
Ann Richards has REALLY done for this
state as governor, read this document and
decide for yourself whether she should
continue as YOUR governor.

for the November 8 general election.
Contact your county tax assessor-collector
or election administrator for detailed
information about registering to vote.
