I'll make sure all 'Lee Turner' nodes are kicked/killed right now. If its from another handle, just update. (I think I might have already fixed this, tho, as I noticed the other day a couple nodes that were hung for hours and already have kicked/killed them. :P

    Lemme know if not, tho.

The software is so prehistoric but runs about any door you want. Really

I have a simple gmail address. I was one of the early beta testers. Over
the past few years, I've had some guy fat-finger (or misremember) his
email address, and it's signed up for what have to be 20 or more online gambling sites.

He keeps signing up for different services because I keep using the
"forgot password" link and changing his password. :)

Now I'm getting reminders about his upcoming high-school reunion...

    Hello there!

Yes I'm going to throw the same games on my Mystic board.
Really the only reason I run the Wildcat board is I need
Windows OS to run Trade Wars 2002 server on.

Soon though I was talking to John Pritchett and he is working
on a new release of Trade Wars 2002 and one of the releases
    will be for linux.

    Thanks for stopping by though...

i have that exact same situation and exact same problem with an email address i have that i never really used.

the guy was even able to take control of it many years ago and he used it. eventually i got bored and i tried to get it back. i jumped through those
hoops and got it back. i forwarded all new mail into trash and i did an autoresponse saying this email address was not monnitored.

Are you serious? I hadn't heard of this at all and would love a Linux version of tW2002. Is there any changes/updates or just a port to nix?

    Hello
Here is what he wrote to me the other day!

Well, I have made some progress on a new version, but I took a job
working on the Egosoft X space sim series and that's slowed me down. I definitely intend to put out a new version in the future to keep the
game playable. The Win XP version is definitely getting too old.

I did port TW v2 to c++ which will open the door to a Linux release, but
I don't have any specific plans just yet.

Dude, thanks for sharing - and that sounds great. Even if just to make sure TW2002 can be used on newer systems, an update would be awesome... imagine if the dev added new ships, or new anything, too - OMG. :P

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any new info that gets dropped - or released!
