I set up a web site for my new bbs and was hoping someone could confirm if it works outside my lan..

I think the website should but I'm unsure about ftelnet.

Thanks deon, I think I've fixed ftelnet. I didn't realize I couldn't use WS with HTTPS.

I bought a domain for my bbs today, positronicbrain.net

positronic.ddns.net still works and is free so I have no intention of getting rid of it, but everything can now be accessed via both domains.

at least, it should.

Just thought I'd let you know, doesn't matter which one is used for tqwnet.

Correct, fTelnet appears to be trying to connect to port 1123 which is wrong, right? o.O

That's the port of the websocket service, actually it's nginx which then connects to the bbs machine via synchronets websocket thing, which then connects to telnet on localhost (at least i think that's how it works)

i didn't actually get this message on my system - not sure if something's wrong or not. I didn't check when you sent it before replying lol

I also sent a message an hour or two ago letting you know i got a new domain, positronicbrain.net (the old address still works, so no need to change it, just theought you'd like to know.
