I do something similar with a python script for a ham radio feed over at my board. I'm just curious how other folks do it, because I feel like my method is a bit crude. I just use some python modules like feedparser, BS4, etc, to grab the text from the feed, export the data to a text file and mutil uploads the text file to a specific message base. I was wondering if there's a better way?

This is pretty much what I do too actually, there may be a "better" way but as long as it's working... =)
