    Just a short note, I would like to see more players and Sysop's
    to load the Barren Realms league 25 door game on some boards.

    What do you think?

    I think it's funny someone is still trying to charge $15 for obsolete
    dos software in a day when users don't contribute to the running of a
    BBS.

    Maybe so but being I started some where around 94 so most of my doors are
    regestered then and today the net is full of all kinds of key gens.

    Hay besides I like the idea of the younger picking up the slack.

    I keep pondering this. Setting up my doors for IBBS leagues is one of the few things I never got around to with my board.

    What's holding me back is, I don't want to get set up in one league only to find it's dead for months at a time, set up a few more, and eventually grow to have multiple long lists of leagues for all the same IBBS doors, with little to no activity in each. It seems typical for boards to dedicate a section of doors to a particular league, and repeat that for each league they're in. Seems cumbersome, at least to me. Whenever I've checked out other boards with long IBBS league listings, this seemed to be the common trend.

    Is my impression wrong? Are there any doors where it's particularly worthwhile to get running in a league?

    Well to some degree your right but not just league doors, same with message
    networks and file areas are for sure dead. I remember when I ran a board
    in 99. Two modems and two phone lines and 42 calls a year. Sometimes I
    got tired of a reply to maybe 50 to 100 messages to reply to also.

    Now as I see it Battlenet would be the leauge I would join for league
    doors, but again Battlenet use to spin 2 to 4 league doors going and
    stay busy.

    I'd have to say any thing on a board is slow.
    But I still do love being on a bbs.

    I am the only user for my bbs so I dont see a real advantage of BRE League.
    I am assuming there is ab application info in case I change my mind?

    Sure your right why have a league door if only you. But that all changes
    if you like Barren Realms.
