• Prelogin question

From Patch@21:1/101 to All on Thu Sep 21 08:34:12 2023
I'm in the process of personalizing the BBS again, looking at the Menu Editor section in Sysop menu/Config I would assume the prelogin event would be the initial ANSI that is displayed once someone connects via Telnet.

    Is this right?

When I log in (using nodespy) the Mystic Demo BBS header shows up and not the screen that I just configured. Where can I replace the Mystic Demo BBS header with a different screen?

ANyone is welcome to connect, but it's massively under construction. lotw.mywire.org port 23016

    answer.asc / answer.ans first iirc
    preuser.ans / preuser.asc for login?
then prelogin should go.. which is not 'pre' login at all.

probably best to poke around in \mystic\themes\default\text

Thanks, and you're absolutely right. I was looking for preuser in the menu editor, and not a display file in the TEXT section of Themes.

    I appreciate your guidance.
