Greetings All,
A node of mine has indicated that he is not getting the files that he is subscribed to nodediff, nodelist and others.
I do see that he is subscribed to them, but he has indicated that they are not being sent.
I have each of my nodes using the filebox feature within Mystic, but there are no files in these folders for each of my nodes.
Should I use the filebox or turn it off? Is there a setting within mutil.ini or another ini file that I can look at to correct this issue of downlinks not the files that they have subscribed to within the filebone.

Mystic will send and delete all the files in your outbox/filebox directories on the next connect with those nodes.

Should I use the filebox or turn it off? Is there a setting within mutil.ini or another ini file that I can look at to correct this issue of downlinks not the files that they have subscribed to within the filebone.

Do turn it in for all linked nodes who are receiving files.

Mystic will place the tics and files for those nodes in the outbox/filebox directory at toss time. If the directory doesn't exist then those nodes will not get any files or tics from your node.

I have looked at the issue here locally within the system, since I was unable to resolve this issue, I thought I would take the next logical step and reach out here to resolve whatever it is to fix this issue so that you get files from Fidonet filebone.

Hi John

I had a look at Gregory's settings last night and found an issue with your filebox that had been sorted by the time I looked at things... that would have impacted files and accompanying TICs being tossed to your node... but that was resolved in the last week or so from what I can see.

I could see more recent files being sent to you node and ran a manual test to send out the most recent nodedif file that came in late April, that sent OK to your system as well.

Can you confirm receipt of the file(s)... and let me know how you got on. I'm happy to help both you and Greg get the issue sorted. :)
