yeah i gave up on it when i tried it. duno if the protocol has evolved separately from what the RFC says or what.. (i.e. Mystic does it the old way? who knows)

I'm writing this from NNTP news reader. It seems fetching new
articles using NNTP is very slow (Mystic A49). It can take
one minute or so to load a single article using NNTP.

Any idea why this is so? I would like to use news reader
to read my echomails.
