• Filefix?

From doctor wade@21:1/999 to All on Thu Apr 9 15:56:52 2020
    Greetings all:
I have been trying to use Filefix to trun on some fileareas I found in the infopack I recieved. This is how Filefix responded to my query:
Your FILEFIX request has been processed

    Command: %+FSX_MYST
    Result: Unknown echo area

    Command: %+FSX_MUTIL
    Result: Unknown echo area

    Command: %+FSX_UTILS
    Result: Unknown echo area

    Command: %+FSX_TEXT
    Result: Unknown echo area

Am I doing something wrong? I read the help file and thought I had the
commands entered correctly. Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello doctor,

    Am I doing something wrong?

Use simply +FSX_INFO, the % is only used for %+ALL and %LIST etc.

I read the help file and thought I had the commands entered correctly.
    Any input would be appreciated.

You may or may not be able to use Area/Filefix from a temporary node but you will be able to get use it if you apply for a node.

Thanks for thehelp. I sent Avon an email last week with the request form. I
can see where I would need my own node number for this to work correctly. Am
I able to file request files from my hub with a /999 address?

    Hello doctor,

Thanks for thehelp. I sent Avon an email last week with the request
    form.

No worries and I'm sure Avon will have you fixed up with a node shortly, welcome to the net.. :)

Am I able to file request files from my hub with a /999 address?

My node supports file requests so any node is welcome to request any files they like from here. What I don't have is an allfiles list for folks to know what files I have available. I'm working on that. :)

I don't think Mystic currently supports file requests. We brought that up with g00r00 recently and he may implement that at some point when he has a chance to look into it more. Time will tell.

Send filefix a %UNLINKED command and see what it returns.

I thought it was just +FSX_MYST to add without the % tho I may be wrong,
    it's been known.

I think you are correct, I think that is a formatting error.

This is because /999 has limited access to files etc. given it's a setup
node. Once you have your own node you'll have full access. I'll be in touch today with those details.

    Best, Paul
