• Bladders Gate?

poking around in Balders Gate II. I don't know how many

I hope you mean Baldur's Gate.

That I do, nary a bladder or a balder in sight. It usually takes me so long to make it to spellhold that the family is fed up with me sitting at the pooty. But we've been trundling along like a house on fire this time. Do houses on fire trundle?

There is an awful lot to do if you chase it all down, I've not been trying to do everything, just pick my story and only take what it needs to unfold. Means there are large areas you can ignore, and areas that are really for differing classes.

It is so hard for me to leave things undone in games like this :-)

I remember some love quest in my copy of Baldur's Gate II was bugged. Bummer.

A friend of mine loved doing some cheap exploit in order to get Drizz Do'Urden killed and get his stuff. Specially interesting if you know who Drizzt is from the Forgotten Realms literature. He told me that if you import your Baldur's Gate I character into Baldur's Get II after beating Drizz, Drizzt shows up with his friends in BGII and gives you a good beating.

Usually I do everything too, but in this case, its like 8 rounds later, and I've never passed spellhold so... I'm going to skip everything I can to get spellhold completed. Although I've just entered the Underdark now, I think I'll keep going the same way, play to my story line and ignore stuff that doesn't fit into it.

This time around I skipped Imnesvale completely, done most of the main sections of Athkatla but not looked into things like the all seing eye in the sewers.

There were plenty of bugs in the original love stories... Paladins and Rangers weren't Fighter enough to do the fighters quest.. all sorts of stuff...

Unrelated but still a bug, I ran into in the Sahuagin city, I was unable to complete with the Prince, as he showed up as an enemy in the throne room, but was both unkillable and didn't attack, so it became stuck in a loop. Ended up killing everyone..
