• Dream Last Night

From NuSkooler@21:1/121 to All on Wed May 27 12:08:02 2020
Here is something completely new to me: Last night I had a dream that was fully "narrated" from a Apple IIe type point and click adventure. I could recognize the text style of the Apple IIe and it's distinct (and I love!) color/rendering. By "narrated" I mean sometimes I could "read" the text (however that really works in dreams... not quite reading?!) and sometimes it was read to me (or by me?).

Very weird, but thought I would share :)

I have dreamt of computer-related projects when I've been faced with a deadline. I'd wake up in the middle of the night with "the answer" to a problem.

But your computer adventure dream sounds very Tron. Was it a happy
    adventure at least?

Yep, I've had these as well. The whole "dream of code" thing is a real deal. I have lucid dreams quite often. They can be a huge pain if you get stuck in a "loop", but they can also help with this sort of thing.

They say you cannot read words in dreams, but there are times I know I
have read things. Then I have other dreams where I am trying so much to
read (or hear) something but cannot. :)

That has happened to me too in the past but only once has the answer I dreamed of actually worked. I was stunned that time it did.

A dream can make things totally unrealistic, even lucid ones where I manipulate things.

In my programming "A HA!" dreams, maybe I wasn't entirely asleep as I probably constantly thinking of a project. Most of the time I woke up
really tired. But that was a long time ago.
